1. Who we are
Waagen Media (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a digital marketing agency based in Norway, providing services including Google Ads management, Meta Ads management, SEO, email marketing, and e-commerce (Shopify/WooCommerce) management for our clients.

2. What this policy covers
This policy covers how we collect, use, and protect data in connection with:
- Our website, waagenmedia.no
- Internal tools and automated systems we build and operate to deliver our services to clients (for example, reporting dashboards, and tools that may connect to advertising platforms, e-commerce platforms, or other systems on a client’s behalf)
3. Data we access and process
In the course of providing our services, we may access and process data including, but not limited to:
- Advertising account data, via APIs such as the Google Ads API and Meta Marketing API, including campaign, ad, and performance metrics (e.g. cost, clicks, conversions), and, where authorized by the client, the ability to view or modify campaign settings on their behalf.
- E-commerce and order data, via platforms such as WooCommerce and Shopify, including order totals, order sources, and related attribution data, and, where authorized by the client, inventory or product data.
- Website and analytics data, such as traffic and conversion data from tools like Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager.
- Contact information provided directly to us by clients or prospective clients (e.g. name, email, company name).
We only access systems and data belonging to clients we have an active service agreement with, and only to the extent necessary to deliver the services agreed with that client.
4. How we use data
We use the data described above to:
- Build and deliver performance reports and dashboards to clients
- Monitor, manage, and optimize advertising campaigns on behalf of clients, where authorized
- Automate operational tasks on behalf of clients (for example, syncing advertising campaigns with inventory or order data), where authorized
- Communicate with clients and prospective clients about our services
We do not sell client data, and we do not use client data for any purpose outside of delivering the agreed services to that client.
5. Third-party services
Our tools are built using, and may transmit or store data via, third-party infrastructure including but not limited to Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Looker Studio), Google Cloud Platform, and the platforms named in Section 3. These providers process data under their own privacy policies and terms.
6. Data storage and retention
Data is stored using standard, access-controlled systems (such as Google Workspace) accessible only to authorized Waagen Media staff. We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to deliver our services and to meet legitimate business or legal record-keeping needs, after which it is deleted or anonymized where feasible.
7. Your rights
If you are a client, prospective client, or another individual whose data we process, you may contact us at post@waagenmedia.no to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, subject to applicable law (including the Norwegian Personal Data Act and GDPR, where applicable).
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our services and tools evolve. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
